Job summary
ZMC Hotels in Tucson, AZ seeks a hands-on Maintenance Technician to handle carpentry, painting, plumbing and electrical tasks across our property. You will be busy with projects, maintain equipment, and support daily operations to ensure guest satisfaction.
The role requires working knowledge of general maintenance, life safety systems, and adherence to hotel standards. You will supervise maintenance activities and help manage contractor work while keeping a clean, safe, and welcoming
Qualifications
- Experience in carpentry, painting, plumbing and electrical work.
- Ability to lift, stand, carry tools and equipment.
- General maintenance and repair knowledge for a hotel facility.
Responsibilities
- Complete work orders in a timely manner and maintain logs.
- Implement preventative maintenance programs for property and equipment.
- Adhere to hotel/franchise and ZMC Hotels standards.
- Supervise maintenance staff and oversee security of guests and property.
- Inspect and maintain life safety systems and grounds.
- Repair furniture, cabinets, doors, windows, and fixtures.
- Monitor electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems and perform repairs as needed.
- Coordinate with General Manager on bids and contractor work.
