Job summary

Schulte Hospitality Group is seeking an energetic, hands-on Maintenance Engineer to join our team. The role oversees property grounds, public areas and guest rooms, performs preventative maintenance and ensures reliable operation of HVAC, electrical, plumbing and carpentry systems.

You will respond to maintenance orders, complete daily rounds, and manage spare parts. Requires 2–3 years hotel maintenance experience and at least one year of related college or trade school coursework; strong math,

Qualifications

• Minimum of two to three years in a hotel maintenance position preferred
• One year of college or trade school related to mechanical, electrical or technical disciplines
• In-depth knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical and carpentry

Responsibilities

• Oversees the property grounds, public areas and hotel guest rooms
• Conducts preventative maintenance to prevent breakdowns in hotel accommodations
• Paints, replaces electrical accessories, maintains HVAC
• Check fixtures, lighting, and signs for proper operation; maintain spare parts and bulbs
• Responds to maintenance orders in a timely manner
• Fulfills work orders in a timely manner
• Completed daily rounds, identifying and reporting problems
• Perform various other duties as assigned
