Job summary

HHM Hospitality is seeking an Engineer to perform preventative maintenance and repairs in a hotel environment. You will inspect rooms, repair fixtures, install TVs, perform basic plumbing and electrical work, and keep maintenance records.

The role requires adherence to safety standards and supports guest satisfaction initiatives. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or trade training and prior engineering/maintenance experience.

Qualifications

• High School diploma and trade school coursework preferred.
• Previous engineer/maintenance experience or equivalent training required.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs to hotel facilities and equipment.
• Inspect rooms and identify repair needs; follow safety guidelines.
• Install/repair sheetrock, paint designated areas, and fix electrical fixtures.
• Install, replace, and program televisions; perform minor plumbing tasks.
• Maintain repair and preventive maintenance records; ensure compliance with codes.
• Assist as bell attendant during staffing shortages or peak periods.
• Support guest satisfaction initiatives and follow Service Recovery guidelines.
