Job summary

PAH Management is seeking an Engineer to oversee day-to-day operations of the hotel Engineering Department in Cape Canaveral, FL. This hands-on role ensures safety, compliance, and smooth operation of electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and HVAC systems.

The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver with broad trades knowledge, strong guest communication, and the ability to make independent decisions under pressure. Heavy work and long hours may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• General knowledge of technical fields such as carpentry, painting, and electrical work.
• Ability to work well in a team atmosphere and make independent decisions.
• Trade certifications or specialized training in electrical, plumbing, mechanical, or HVAC systems.
• Prior experience with hotel electronic lock systems.
• Familiarity with local, state, and federal building and safety codes.

Responsibilities

• Maintain property equipment, grounds, and other assets in safe condition.
• Conduct site inspections and schedule preventive maintenance.
• Respond to non-functioning equipment and guest inquiries promptly.
• Repair and program the hotel's electronic lock system.
• Assist with vendor contracts and renovations as needed.
