PAH Management is seeking a hands-on Engineer to oversee day-to-day operations of the Engineering Department for a hotel in Cape Canaveral, FL. The role covers electrical, plumbing, mechanical and HVAC systems, ensuring guest safety and smooth operation behind the scenes.

The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver with broad trades knowledge, able to communicate clearly with guests and staff, and capable of independent decision-making under pressure.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• General knowledge of technical fields such as carpentry, painting, and electrical work.
• Ability to work well in a team atmosphere and make independent decisions.
• Trade certifications or specialized training in electrical, plumbing, mechanical, or HVAC systems.
• Prior experience with hotel electronic lock systems.
• Familiarity with local, state, and federal building and safety codes.

Responsibilities

• Deliver guest service and uphold brand standards.
• Maintain property, equipment, and assets to safe condition.
• Perform preventive maintenance and respond to non-functioning equipment.
• Repair and program the hotel's electronic lock system.
• Assist with vendor contracts and special projects.
