Job summary

Hotel Talent NYC is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to support operations, maintenance services, and equipment repairs within the hotel environment. You will participate in the preventative maintenance program and handle guest work orders, ensuring safety and efficiency.

Qualifications include experience in a hotel or related field, a high school diploma, and trades licensing preferred. The role involves carpentry, painting, plumbing, HVAC work, and other tasks as needed by supervision.

Qualifications

• Experience in a hotel or related field is preferred.
• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Licensed in a trade (plumbing/electrical/HVAC/carpentry) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with operation, maintenance, and equipment repair.
• Change out light bulbs; perform preventative maintenance for guest rooms, including vinyl repair and painting.
• Perform maintenance on ice machines, refrigerators, kitchen equipment, laundry equipment, HVAC, pools and hot tub.
• Perform plumbing repairs, laundry equipment maintenance, and exhaust fan maintenance.
• Respond to alarms to determine location and report findings to Front Desk.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by supervisor or manager.
