Job summary

Midas Hospitality seeks a dependable Hotel Engineer / Maintenance Engineer to maintain our hotels’ physical property, equipment, and guest rooms. The role involves preventative maintenance, diagnosing repair needs, and responding to maintenance requests to ensure safety and guest comfort.

The ideal candidate has hands-on skills in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry and related trades, with strong attention to safety, quality, and guest service. Flexibility for after-hours work is required.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in hotel maintenance or related trades.
• Knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, mechanical systems, carpentry, and general repair techniques.
• Ability to diagnose problems and complete repairs efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance according to hotel schedules and brand standards.
• Inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain hotel equipment, guest rooms, and public areas.
• Perform general maintenance including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, painting, drywall, and mechanical repairs.
• Respond to maintenance requests promptly while providing professional guest service.
• Maintain appearance and functionality of guest rooms, hallways, meeting spaces, exterior areas, and back‑of‑house spaces.
• Monitor and maintain mechanical equipment, boilers, HVAC systems, lighting, and appliances.
