Job summary

WS Management Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to address a wide range of engineering needs and guest interactions at our hotel properties.

You will conduct preventive maintenance, respond to guest repair requests, and manage inventory while balancing independent work with team coordination. The role requires troubleshooting expertise across HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general maintenance, with a focus on safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in hotel or property maintenance.
• Ability to perform preventive maintenance and routine repairs.
• Comfortable using hand and power tools and reading technical manuals/schematics.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and mechanical systems.
• Respond to guest maintenance requests and internal work orders.
• Conduct daily property walk-throughs and complete duty round checklists.
• Perform routine and preventive maintenance to ensure optimal operation of equipment and building systems.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of maintenance spaces during repairs.
• Install, maintain, and repair appliances, light fixtures, door hardware, and more.
• Check and maintain safety systems (fire alarms, emergency lighting, etc.).
• Support outdoor upkeep and assist with landscaping tasks as needed.
• Coordinate with vendors/contractors for external support.
