Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Trade certifications in HVAC, plumbing, or electrical preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years in hotel maintenance or related field.
• Valid Driver License required.
• Strong mechanical and technical skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Preventative Maintenance: Regular inspections of hotel facilities including guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas.
• Repair and Troubleshooting: Respond to maintenance requests and diagnose equipment malfunctions, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
• Safety and Compliance: Adhere to safety guidelines including OSHA standards and conduct regular safety inspections.
• Guest Satisfaction: Interact with guests professionally and resolve maintenance-related complaints timely.
• Maintenance Planning: Implement a preventative maintenance schedule to minimize breakdowns and equipment failures.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs.
