Job summary

MCR is seeking aMaintenance/Facilities role at Aloft Atlanta Downtown. You will support daily repairs, preventive maintenance, and safety compliance across the hotel, collaborating with team members to ensure guest comfort and a well‑organized environment.

Ideal candidates have at least 2 years of related experience, a positive attitude, and the ability to follow guidelines under pressure. The role emphasizes hospitality, safety, and consistent product quality across areas.

Qualifications

• Technical, Trade or Vocational school degree preferred.
• At least 2 years of work-related experience in a commercial facility, hospitality or related field preferred.
• Must have a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Must understand and follow established guidelines and procedures.
• Must work well in stressful, high-pressure situations.
• Must be able to listen, understand, clarify, and resolve concerns from co-workers and guests.
• Must convey information clearly and have strong hospitality and guest service orientation.

Responsibilities

• Respond to guest repair requests and document completion via the electronic work order system.
• Maintain room and public-space preventive maintenance on schedule.
• Ensure safety measures and health codes are followed; report emergencies to supervisor/GM.
• Perform full property walks at start and end of shifts; note and complete needs.
• Keep maintenance areas clean, organized, and well‑kept during shifts.
