Job summary

Hotel Telluride is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to ensure guest comfort and safety by maintaining all equipment, buildings, and property in top condition. You will handle HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general maintenance tasks while coordinating with staff to meet daily needs.

The role requires at least 1 year of maintenance experience, strong problem-solving, and the ability to manage multiple projects. Training and a collaborative team environment are provided.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of ventilation/HVAC, heating, refrigeration, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting.
• Understanding of city/state building codes, OSHA requirements, and ADA laws.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage priorities and workflow.
• Willingness to work within changing priorities with enthusiasm.

Responsibilities

• Maintains property including guest rooms, public areas, equipment; preventive maintenance.
• Interfaces with hotel staff to receive maintenance requests and respond promptly.
• Ensures HVAC, refrigeration, electrical, plumbing, and other systems are functional and safe.
• Completes fire/safety inspections and ensures compliance with policies and regulations.
• Performs related duties as assigned by management.
