Job summary

Extell Hospitality Services is seeking an Engineer to ensure smooth operation of hotel facilities and building systems. The role focuses on day-to-day maintenance in guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces, with collaboration to ensure safety and comfort for guests and staff.

Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, rapid response to requests, and reporting safety hazards. The position requires the ability to work flexible hours, including overnights, weekends, and holidays

Qualifications

• Prior maintenance experience in hospitality is preferred.
• HVAC license and LFSD certification are preferred.
• High school diploma is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day general maintenance and repairs throughout the hotel, including guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas.
• Execute repairs and maintenance related to HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general building systems as directed.
• Respond promptly and efficiently to maintenance requests from guests and staff.
• Conduct preventive maintenance on guest room equipment and systems as scheduled and directed by the Director or Assistant Director of Engineering.
• Identify and report any major maintenance issues, safety hazards, or damaged items to the leadership team.
• Utilize maintenance tracking systems (e.g., HotSos) to document work performed and report issues.
