Job summary

The Engineer at Auberge Collection Telluride will join the resort’s engineering team to maintain and repair electrical motors, HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and related systems. You will support guest safety and comfort, follow safety procedures, and document activities in the engineering logbook.

Strong technical skills, experience in hospitality settings, and a valid driver's license are required. This is a full-time, year-round, non-exempt role based in Telluride, CO.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience as a technician or engineer in a hotel or property management preferred.
• Experience with power tools use and safety.
• Ability to read and follow technical instructions on assembly of mechanical equipment, furniture and warning labels.
• Ability to communicate in English with guests, co-workers, and management.
• Valid driver's license and clean motor vehicle record.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair electrical motors and devices.
• Troubleshoot and repair HVAC and refrigeration systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair plumbing systems.
• Perform minor carpentry and painting tasks.
• Safely use power tools including pressure washers and compressors.
• Respond promptly to guest requests and emergencies.
• Maintain safety procedures and update the engineering logbook.
