Job summary

The Engineer at Auberge Residences at Element 52 Telluride will be part of the hotel engineering team, handling electrical motor work, HVAC, carpentry, plumbing, and minor vehicle repairs. You will respond to guest requests and emergencies while maintaining safety procedures and equipment logs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience as a technician or engineer in a hotel or property management preferred.
• Experience with power tools use and safety.
• Ability to read and follow technical instructions on assembly of mechanical equipment, furniture and warning labels.
• Ability to communicate in English with guests, co-workers, and management.
• Valid driver's license and clean motor vehicle record.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair electrical motors and devices.
• Troubleshoot and repair HVAC and refrigeration systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair plumbing systems.
• Perform minor carpentry work.
• Use power tools safely (pressure washers, compressors).
• Repair gas-fired equipment and office/A/V equipment as needed.
• Respond promptly to guest requests and emergencies.
• Follow safety procedures and log essential information in the Engineering logbook.
• Maintain knowledge of resort fire, water, septic, and irrigation systems.
• Support Planet Auberge sustainability initiatives.
