Job summary

Sanctuary Beach Resort seeks an Engineer to maintain hotel facilities to the highest quality and sustainability standards while delivering warm, guest-focused service.

You will inspect rooms, repair and install wall coverings, electrical fixtures, plumbing, and HVAC components, and keep meticulous maintenance records. Prior engineering/maintenance experience and a high school diploma with trade coursework are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma and Trade school coursework in related field preferred.
• Previous engineer/maintenance experience or equivalent training required.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative and repair maintenance to meet quality and sustainability standards.
• Conduct room inspections and identify repair needs.
• Install or repair sheetrock and wall coverings, paint designated areas.
• Install, replace and program televisions; repair electrical fixtures; replace light switches and receptacles.
• Repair furniture and perform minor plumbing functions.
• Maintain records of repairs and preventive maintenance.
• Perform maintenance in accordance with local, state and Federal codes.
• Support guest satisfaction by ensuring reliable facilities and services.
• Assist as bell attendant during staffing shortages or peak periods.
• Comply with safety guidelines and MSDS/OSHA standards.
• Perform other duties as requested by management.
