Hulsing Enterprises is hiring a Line Cook for Four Points By Sheraton Asheville Downtown, Asheville, NC. This part-time role requires at least 1 year in a kitchen, a high school diploma, and the ability to work with a team to deliver hotel-standard food.

Responsibilities include cooking to specifications, operating kitchen equipment safely, stocking the line, and maintaining cleanliness. Professional conduct and guest service are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year of kitchen experience.
• Must be team oriented, empathetic, friendly and show initiative.
• Must be able to represent the hotel in a professional manner to hotel guests.

Responsibilities

• Performs all methods of cooking and portion control in accordance with hotel specifications.
• Must have working knowledge of all kitchen equipment including ovens, grills, broilers, fryers, steam tables, mixers, knives and slicers.
• Properly uses all kitchen equipment and ensures safe use.
• Maintains food line to ensure items are properly stocked.
• Continuously stocks and restocks items as needed.
• Maintains cleanliness and sanitation of all cooking equipment.
• Notifies supervisor of safety hazards and guest complaints.
• Ensures proper handling and storage of food.
• Maintain uniform and professional appearance; protect assets.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
