Job summary

Remington Hotels in Palm Springs is seeking a Line Cook to join our kitchen team. You will prepare all menu items following recipes and yield guides, and rotate through stations on the line.

Candidates need 3 years' experience as a Line Cook in a hotel, resort, or restaurant, a food handling certification, and a strong work ethic with the ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays. Team collaboration is essential to deliver great guest experiences.

Qualifications

• 3 years' experience as a Line Cook in a hotel/resort or restaurant.
• Ability to work all stations on the line.
• Food handling certification required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare all menu items following recipes and yield guides.
• Meet with Sous Chef to review assignments and anticipated business levels.
• Start prep for the menu of the day and assist line cooks throughout the shift.
• Set up work stations with MIS en place, tools, equipment and supplies; breakdown and close at shift end.
• Maintain proper storage procedures per Health Department and hotel requirements.
