Raines Co. is seeking a dedicated Cook to set up and cook food items while ensuring quality and compliance with health guidelines. The role focuses on preparation, station organization, proper storage, and teamwork in a fast-paced hotel/restaurant setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of experience in hotels, restaurants or related fields.
• Prior Line Cook, Quick Order Cook, Banquet Cook or similar experience preferred.
• Certifications as required by Federal, State, or Local agencies.
• Minimum High school diploma, GED or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Sets up, stocks and organizes workstation for food production.
• Prepares food items according to menu standards and stores them properly.
• Uses kitchen tools including knives, scales, and grinders safely and correctly.
• Checks stock levels and reports shortages, ordering as needed (FIFO).
• Plates food according to standard plating with garnishments and quantities.
• Performs cleaning, inventory and organizational tasks.
