Job summary

The Omaha Marriott in Regency Business Park is seeking a professional Line Cook to join our Heartwood Restaurant & Lounge team. You will prepare menu items, coordinate with the Sous Chef, and ensure tasks are completed for each shift.

Ideal candidates can work all stations, maintain high food quality, and demonstrate teamwork on a hotel kitchen line. Flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays may be required to deliver great guest experiences.

Qualifications

• Experience as a line cook in a hotel/resort or restaurant.
• Ability to work all line stations.
• High work ethic and self-initiative.
• May be required to work varying schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Prepare all menu items following recipes and yield guides.
• Meet with Sous Chef/Station Cook I to review assignments and changes.
• Start prep work for daily menu items and assist Line Cooks during the shift.
• Set up work stations with mis en place, tools and supplies; breakdown and close stations.
• Maintain proper storage procedures and follow health guidelines.
