Job summary

Rio Las Vegas seeks a team member to support the dishwashing and general cleaning operations in its kitchen and dining areas. You will be responsible for ware-washing, cleaning floors, and maintaining cleanliness of workspaces, while following health and safety guidelines.

The role requires the ability to work varied shifts, including nights and weekends, and strong customer-service orientation. Prior hospitality or fast-food experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• At least 21 years of age.
• At least one year of high-volume counter or fast-food experience.
• Ability to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Polished appearance and demeanor.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to follow company rules and health/safety procedures.
• Willingness to wear gloves and handle kitchenware.

Responsibilities

• Performs ware-washing, mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, cleaning walls and basic equipment.
• Cleans and sanitizes kitchen and dining areas; maintains cleanliness of work areas.
• Receives and cleans guest dinnerware, flatware, and glassware per procedures.
• Performs opening/closing duties and side work; adheres to shift requirements.
• Maintains records of equipment cleaned and areas needing attention.
• Maintains storage closets organized and follows OSHA chemical usage guidelines.
