Job summary

Plaza Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas is seeking a Kitchen Worker to maintain sanitation and cleanliness of kitchen areas and equipment. Duties include washing dishes, mopping floors, cleaning stoves and ventilation units, and assisting with food preparation as needed.

The role requires excellent customer service, the ability to work a variety of shifts, and strong English communication. A Food Handler’s Card is preferred; apply to join a fast-paced hotel kitchen team.

Qualifications

• Able to set up and operate a 3-compartment sink.

Responsibilities

• Wash soiled utensils in the three-sink compartments.
• Sweep and mop kitchen floors; scrub walls and trash cans.
• Dismantle equipment for cleaning; maintain sanitation standards.
• Keep storerooms organized; stock and store supplies properly.
• Maintain written records of equipment cleaned and needs attention.
• Assist in food preparation areas as needed and report issues.
