Hilton Garden Inn Denver Downtown is seeking a Cook to deliver quality dining experiences for guests. You will plan and prepare menu items for the restaurant and catered events, maintain food safety, and work with teammates to ensure timely, appealing dishes.

Qualifications

• Previous food handling or prep/line experience is required.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be able to lift at least 25 pounds and stand for shift.
• Flexible schedule including mornings, evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Plan and prepare various food items and meals for the restaurant and catered functions.
• Oversee food cost and portion control without sacrificing quality.
• Creatively accommodate special requests from guests.
• Ensure food deliveries are timely, accurate and meet presentation standards.
• Assist with quality, cleanliness and organization of the restaurant and kitchen.
• Assist with inventory, ordering and receiving of all food and beverage items.
• Maintain sanitation and safety standards in the kitchen.
• Support hotel goals through teamwork with all departments.
