Job summary

Aimbridge Hospitality's Hampton Inn & Suites Midtown Atlanta is seeking a full-time cook for PM shifts (4:00 PM–10:00 PM Sun–Thu and 4:00 PM–11:00 PM Fri–Sat). The role requires flexibility, weekend availability, and a strong focus on quality, portion control, and presentation.

You will lead kitchen staff, ensure sanitation compliance, and communicate effectively with guests and coworkers. Experience in hotel kitchens and a valid Food Handlers Certification are preferred.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience, or a culinary graduate with at least 1 year of experience in a hotel or related field.
• Food Handlers Certification required.
• Able to work effectively under pressure, maintaining composure while evaluating situations and determining the best course of action.
• A strong communicator who listens actively to understand concerns raised by coworkers and guests, and effectively conveys ideas and solutions.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and supervise food items with precision, ensuring quality, portioning, and presentation.
• Lead and assist kitchen staff to maintain efficient operations and high-quality food and service.
• Anticipate challenges and resolve issues to keep kitchen operations running smoothly.
