Job summary

Aimbridge Hospitality in Midtown Atlanta is seeking a full-time Cook for the Complimentary Breakfast area. The role requires flexibility with the days worked, including weekends. PM shift hours are 4:00 PM–10:00 PM Sunday through Thursday and 4:00 PM–11:00 PM Friday and Saturday.

You will prepare all items from standardized recipes, maintain cleanliness and safety in the kitchen, and ensure adherence to brand standards while minimizing waste. Competitive benefits follow after the waiting period.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent and/or experience in a hotel or related field preferred.
• Food Handlers Certification (must comply with State requirements).
• Must convey information and ideas clearly.
• Must be able to evaluate and select among alternatives quickly and accurately.
• Must work well in stressful, high pressure situations.
• Must maintain composure and objectivity under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Approach all encounters with guests and associates in a friendly, service-oriented manner.
• Maintain regular attendance in line with hotel scheduling and standards.
• Maintain proper uniform and personal grooming per brand standards.
• Comply with Aimbridge Hospitality standards and safety regulations.
• Know menus and preparation required according to hotel standards.
• Prepare and display buffet items and service food for the complimentary breakfast.
• Complete necessary food and station preparations prior to opening of the Breakfast Area.
