Job summary

Ramada by Wyndham in Luling, LA seeks a Part Time Maintenance Engineer to oversee HVAC systems, electrical and plumbing maintenance, and preventive care to keep hotel operations smooth.

The Engineer Level 1 will monitor equipment, perform readings, repair and replace components, and ensure safety standards while minimizing guest disruption. Requires 3+ years HVAC experience and relevant certifications.

Qualifications

• Education/experience equivalent to high school or higher with at least 3 years in a similar HVAC role.
• At least 3 years' experience as an HVAC mechanic in a complex facility.
• Licensed and/or certified in HVAC, refrigerant usage and recovery.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair hotel HVAC systems, boilers, chillers, and related equipment.
• Take readings and test performance to ensure optimal operation.
• Read and interpret blueprints and wiring diagrams for maintenance tasks.
• Perform preventive maintenance and document repairs and inspections.
• Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
