Job summary
Grand Hyatt Scottsdale Resort is seeking an HVAC Mechanic to perform maintenance in guest rooms, meeting spaces, and back-of-house areas. The role requires troubleshooting HVAC/R systems, reading blueprints, and using a Windows-based computer system.
The position starts at $28.00 per hour with full-time hours, including weekends and holidays. EPA Section 608 Universal certification is required; two years of building maintenance experience preferred.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years building maintenance experience required (hotel experience preferred).
- EPA Section 608 Universal certification required.
- Ability to read blueprints and schematics for HVAC/R systems.
Responsibilities
- Maintain guest rooms, meeting spaces, and front/back-of-house areas.
- Troubleshoot HVAC/R systems and related equipment.
- Operate controls via Windows-based computer systems.
- Comply with life-safety and building systems standards.
