Job summary

DoubleTree Phoenix Midtown is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join the team in Phoenix, AZ. You will efficiently operate central HVAC and related equipment, perform repairs on kitchen, laundry, ice machines, refrigeration, boilers and plumbing, and conduct preventive maintenance to keep facilities running smoothly.

The role requires prior hotel engineering experience with HVAC/electrical/plumbing and the ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.

Qualifications

• Previous hotel engineering experience including HVAC, electrical, plumbing and general building knowledge.
• Vocational training or an associate's degree, certification or apprenticeship; state licensure where required.

Responsibilities

• Operate central HVAC and related mechanical equipment safely following procedures.
• Repair and maintain food service, laundry, ice machines, refrigeration, boilers and plumbing systems.
• Troubleshoot electrical and pneumatic issues and repair efficiently.
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on an ongoing basis.
