Job summary

Grand Hyatt Scottsdale Resort is seeking a Mechanic to join our engineering team. The starting rate is $28.00 per hour, with responsibilities covering maintenance across guest rooms, meeting spaces, and back-of-house areas. Strong troubleshooting, blueprint reading, and clear communication are essential.

Prior hotel or large-property experience is preferred, with open availability including weekends and holidays. This is a full-time hourly role in Scottsdale, AZ.

++Roles and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:++

**Starting rate: $28.00 per hour

A Mechanic will be responsible for shift coverage and therefore must possess strong trouble-shooting skills in all areas of maintenance. This would include Guest rooms, meeting space, Front-of-House areas, and Back-of-House (such as the kitchen, laundry, electrical, mechanical and HVAC systems.). The ability to read blue prints and schematics is preferred. A minimum of 5 years' experience is preferred with handling building maintenance. A strong working knowledge of all major building systems, including life-safety systems, is required for this position. Good communication skills are necessary.

• Must have open availability, including the weekends and holidays
• Previous hotel or large property experience is preferred.
• Weekend and Holiday availability.
• Ability to walk or stand for long periods of time.
• Ability to lift, push, pull and/or carry at least 50 lbs.
