Job summary

The Scott Resort & Spa in Scottsdale, AZ seeks a full-time maintenance technician to perform preventive and corrective maintenance across guest rooms, public areas, pools, and back‑of‑house spaces. You’ll troubleshoot HVAC, plumbing, electrical, lighting, and carpentry, and respond promptly to guest requests with a courteous, service‑oriented approach.

You will follow safety policies, maintain records, and coordinate with Housekeeping, Front Desk, Security, and other teams to minimize guest

Qualifications

• Experience in building maintenance, engineering, facilities, or hospitality maintenance.
• Working knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, painting, drywall, carpentry, or related trades.
• Ability to troubleshoot problems and complete repairs safely.
• Experience reading work orders and equipment manuals.
• Strong organization, time management, and guest-service skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance across guest rooms, public areas, pools, and grounds.
• Respond promptly and professionally to maintenance requests.
• Troubleshoot and repair building systems including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry.
• Inspect facilities to identify maintenance needs before disruptions.
• Coordinate with housekeeping and other teams to minimize guest impact.
