Job summary

Sheraton Suites Orlando Airport is seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to oversee recruitment, payroll, benefits, training and employee relations. You will ensure compliance with federal and state laws, manage the department budget, and partner with hotel leadership to drive a positive culture and operational excellence.

The role requires 3+ years in HR management, payroll processing, and experience with hotel environments or government contracting is a plus.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Human Resources Management experience required.
• Experience with Affirmitive Action Plans or government contractor preferred.
• Experience in a hotel environment highly preferred.
• Previous experience processing payroll required.

Responsibilities

• Manage and ensure the efficient administration of the Human Resources function.
• Communicate employment, education, professional development, benefits, compensation and team member and labor relations practices for the hotel.
• Ensure hotel compliance with all local, state, and federal laws and regulations.
• Recruit, interview, train, supervise, counsel, schedule and evaluate team members.
• Manage the department's budget financially.
• Foster a positive culture and lead by example across management and hourly staff.
