Job summary

Gold Key PHR seeks a dependable Houseperson to clean guest room floors, corridors and linen closets, and to support Room Attendants in preparing rooms and maintaining stocked carts in a fast-paced hotel environment.

You will follow SSI standards, learn the job through training, and be on time with a neat appearance; you will help manage laundry processes and keep public areas clean and safe. A flexible schedule including weekends is required.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Able to read, write and speak basic English.
• Able to understand basic math for dilutions, portions, etc.
• Able to push, stand, stoop, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds repetitively.
• Flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Know your job and complete training with clear knowledge of duties.
• Be on time and follow attendance guidelines.
• Maintain a friendly, professional attitude with guests and associates.
• Work with Room Attendants to prepare rooms and stock housekeeping carts.
• Process incoming/outgoing laundry for daily processing.
• Keep service landings clean and stocked and report deficiencies.
