Job summary

GF Hotels & Resorts is seeking a personable houseperson to deliver exceptional guest experiences across public areas and rooms. The role requires multitasking abilities, timely deliveries of amenities, and careful attention to cleanliness and supply replenishment.

We offer part-time shifts (AM and PM) including weekend availability; the ideal candidate has at least one year in a houseperson or housekeeping role and a commitment to service excellence.

Qualifications

• Must have strong guest-first focus with excellent customer service experience.
• 1 year experience as a houseperson or housekeeper strongly desired.
• Possesses strong work ethic with organizational, time management, and communication skills.
• Knowledge of cleaning techniques and products.

Responsibilities

• Perform housekeeping tasks to maintain guest rooms, hallways, lobby, and public areas.
• Make deliveries to guest rooms for amenities, rollaway beds, cribs, bedding, and linens as requested.
• Restock linen supply on each floor by transporting clean linen to storage facilities.
• Walk assigned floors at shift start to collect trash and soiled items as directed by management.
• Provide outstanding service by listening to and addressing guests' needs promptly.

We're looking for a houseperson with excellent people skills who is motivated and attentive to provide our guests with a memorable experience at our hotel. We need a multi-talented individual who can perform a variety of tasks. Responsibilities include keeping the hotel's public areas clean, such as hallways, meeting rooms, and lobbies. You will also make deliveries to guest rooms for guest-requested items such as amenities, rollaway beds, cribs, bedding, and complete any special projects as directed by housekeeping managers.

Compensation:

$16 hourly

Qualifications

• 1 year experience as a houseperson or housekeeper strongly desired
• Possesses a strong work ethic with exemplary organizational, time management, and communication skills
• Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques and products
• Must have graduated high school or received an equivalent certification (GED)

Responsibilities

• Additionally duties supporting laundry services
• Make deliveries to guest rooms for guest-requested items such as amenities, rollaway beds, cribs, bedding, and linens
• Restock linen supply on each floor by transporting clean linen to the housekeeping storage facilities
• Walk all assigned floors at beginning of the shift and collect trash, soiled linen, and other items per management requests
• Provide the highest level of service by anticipating, listening attentively, and responding promptly to guests’ needs
• Clean and maintain guest rooms, hallways, furnishings, flooring, lobby, and other work areas
