Job summary

Ocean Sky Hotel & Resort in Fort Lauderdale, FL seeks a full-time Housekeeping Associate to maintain high cleanliness standards across rooms and common areas. You will ensure linen supplies, manage waste, and assist with special cleaning tasks as directed by the supervisor.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret safety and operating instructions.
• Effective verbal and written communication with guests and co-workers.

Responsibilities

• Ensure room attendants have adequate linen supply.
• Clean ash urns on elevator landings and maintain ice machines and rooms.
• Dispose of trash and manage room attendant linen bags.
• Move furniture in rooms as directed by Floor Supervisor.
• Clean bathroom tiles in assigned rooms.
• Keep baseboards, moldings, and doors dust-free.
• Vacuum landings and common areas.
• Sweep balconies; assist in other hotel duties as needed.
