Job summary

Omni Hotels & Resorts in Fort Lauderdale is seeking a capable Housekeeping Supervisor to oversee cleaning and servicing of guestrooms, hallways, and back of house areas. You will coordinate special projects and train new staff, ensuring Diamond level cleanliness and safe, orderly rooms.

You will regularly inspect guest spaces, report repairs, and manage linen and supply stock while collaborating with leadership. Weekend and holiday shifts are required.

Qualifications

• Previous supervisory experience in housekeeping or hotel operations.
• Able to maintain Diamond level cleanliness standards.
• Able to collaborate with management on special projects.
• Able to set priorities for your section.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Sense of urgency in a fast-paced environment.
• Maintain a professional business appearance, attitude and performance.
• Must be able to work a variety of shifts including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Inspects the cleaning and servicing of guestrooms.
• Inspects the cleanliness of guest hallways, elevator areas, and service areas.
• Assigns special projects as directed by housekeeping leadership.
• Works in coordinator capacity as needed.
• Reports any needed repairs or discrepancies of guest rooms.
• Assists in training all new housekeeping staff.
• Ensure that guest rooms and linen supplies are properly stocked and organized.
• Assist in processing AM and PM room status reports.
• Ensure door stoppers are used as needed and VIP rooms are prioritized.
