Job summary

HEI Hotels and Resorts is seeking a hands-on Housekeeping Supervisor for the Houston Grand Hotel – River Oaks on-site in Houston, TX. You will lead the housekeeping team, assign tasks, train staff, and maintain high cleanliness and safety standards to ensure guest satisfaction.

The role involves interviewing and hiring, inspecting guest rooms and public areas, controlling inventory, and responding to guest requests.

Qualifications

• Housekeeping experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs.
• Ability to move around the building, bend, reach, and assist others as needed.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise housekeeping staff and provide training, coaching and feedback to maximize efficiency.
• Interview, hire, train, evaluate performance, and implement disciplinary actions when needed.
• Supervise cleaning of guest rooms, turndown service, public areas; ensure sanitation standards.
