Job summary

HEI Hotels & Resorts is seeking an Assistant Director of Housekeeping for The Houston Grand Hotel - River Oaks. You will lead room attendants, house persons, and inspectors, ensuring rooms and public areas meet HEI standards, while coordinating staffing and payroll accuracy.

You will drive training, performance evaluations, and discipline as needed, and partner with leadership on budgeting, forecasting, and guest satisfaction. On-site role with opportunities for career growth within HEI.

Qualifications

• 2 years of housekeeping leadership experience (hotel preferred).
• Ability to manage schedules, budgets, and training.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversees room attendants, house persons, and inspectors; leads daily/monthly meetings and provides guidance to ensure standards.
• Interview, hire, train, evaluate performance, and discipline when needed.
• Arrange staffing based on occupancy and projects; review payroll records; monitor budgets and inspection scores.
