Job summary

Generation Hospitality at Provo Marriott Hotel is seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor to lead the housekeeping team, ensuring pristine guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces according to brand standards. You will train staff, perform inspections, and ensure safety and cleanliness across the property.

Responsibilities include supervising daily operations, inventory control, and coordinating with front desk and maintenance to guarantee timely room readiness and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; hospitality or housekeeping certifications a plus.
• Proficient in using housekeeping management software and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both written and verbal; bilingual abilities a plus.
• Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
• Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs., and stand/walk for extended period.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily housekeeping operations including room assignments, inspections, and follow-up tasks.
• Inspect guest rooms, hallways, lobbies, restrooms, and public areas to ensure cleanliness standards are met.
• Ensure compliance with safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards as per policies and brand guidelines.
• Provide training, coaching, and performance feedback to housekeeping staff.
• Monitor and manage inventory of linen, cleaning supplies, and amenities; assist in ordering as necessary.
• Coordinate with front desk and maintenance departments to ensure timely room readiness and guest satisfaction.
• Address guest complaints or requests promptly and professionally.
• Maintain accurate records of staff attendance, room status, inspections, and maintenance needs.
• Report any safety hazards, maintenance issues, or equipment malfunctions to the appropriate department.
