Collegiate Hotel Group is seeking a Rooms Inspector to join Graduate by Hilton Ann Arbor and its team of hospitality enthusiasts. The role focuses on inspecting rooms, ensuring cleanliness, and guiding housekeeping staff to maintain high standards.

The position requires housekeeping experience, strong communication, and leadership skills. Availability to work weekends and holidays is needed; a supportive benefits package is included.

Responsibilities

• Inspect assigned rooms for cleanliness and condition.
• Provide feedback to room attendants to improve efficiency and quality.
• Ensure supplies, equipment, and uniform are available for associates.
• Train associates on safety standards and enforce them consistently.
• Identify unsafe behaviours and retrain accordingly.
• Perform housekeeping duties including making beds, vacuuming, and cleaning.
• Report maintenance repairs and notify appropriate personnel.
• Identify guests' left-behind items and report using lost and found procedures.
• Other duties as assigned.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Inspects all assigned rooms to ensure furnishings, equipment, linens, etc. are clean and in goodrepair

• Provides efficient and objective feedback to room attendants to drive efficiency and quality within the housekeeping department

• Ensure that all associates have proper supplies, equipment, and uniform

• Trains associates on safety standards and enforces those standards on a consistent basis

• Identifies associates engaging in unsafe behaviors and retrain them appropriately.

• Performs all housekeeping duties necessary, including making beds, vacuuming, andcleaning

• Notifies maintenance department of maintenance repairsnecessary

• Identify itemsthatguestshaveleftbehindandreportitemsutilizing the hotel’s lost and found procedures

• Other duties as assigned
