Job summary

The Barnett in New Orleans offers a boutique luxury experience with restored Art Deco charm, modern amenities, and vibrant entertainment options. We seek a hands-on Housekeeping Manager to lead daily operations, ensure cleanliness standards, and drive guest satisfaction in a fast-paced environment.

Reporting to the Executive Housekeeper, you will supervise Housekeeping Supervisors, train staff, and continuously improve productivity and guest experiences through proactive leadership and system

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate/bachelor in Hospitality Management preferred.
• Minimum 2 years housekeeping experience in a hotel; at least 1 year in a supervisory/management role.
• Experience leading and developing housekeeping supervisors and staff preferred.
• Experience with housekeeping/property management systems (HyGEO, Opera Cloud) preferred.
• Hyatt experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support the Executive Housekeeper in managing daily housekeeping operations and ensure departmental standards are met.
• Provide day-to-day supervision, guidance, and coaching to Housekeeping Supervisors.
• Assist with training, development, and evaluation of supervisors and associates.
• Maintain hands-on leadership and address performance concerns in coordination with the Executive Housekeeper.
