Job summary

GF Hotels & Resorts in California is seeking an experienced housekeeping manager to lead our housekeeping team, ensure impeccable cleanliness of guest rooms and public areas, and elevate guest satisfaction to create repeat business.

You will oversee daily operations, hire and train staff, manage equipment and supplies, and maintain high standards of environmental services to deliver the wow factor our guests expect.

Qualifications

• Over 2 years of experience in guest services or hospitality.
• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Over 3 years of experience as an executive housekeeper, housekeeping manager, or similar.
• Strong leadership, detail-oriented, and customer service commitment.
• Knowledge of EVS cleaning processes and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Monitor daily operations of the housekeeping department, including the cleanliness of all guest rooms and public areas daily.
• Arrange for cleaning equipment repairs as needed and keep all other equipment in good working condition.
• Lead, hire, and train hotel housekeeping staff to adhere to our high standards of cleanliness and customer satisfaction.
• Track of areas cleaned by room attendants and contact the front office to handle room damage or maintenance needs.
• Oversee the housekeeping department budget, take inventory, and ensure there is a stock of adequate cleaning supplies.
