Job summary

Extended Stay America is seeking a Lead Housekeeping professional in East Greenwich, RI. The role supports the management team, oversees daily cleaning standards, and drives continuous improvement in the housekeeping department.

You will work independently with limited supervision and collaborate with maintenance for maintenance/deep cleaning programs. Responsibilities include supervising staff, inspecting guest rooms, ensuring carts and laundry areas meet company standards, and completing

Qualifications

Read and speak English; comprehend instructions, memos, and short correspondence.
Train and coach new and existing housekeeping staff to company standards.
Prioritize tasks to keep daily housekeeping operations efficient and compliant.

Responsibilities

Oversee housekeeping tasks and standards under the management team.
Train and inspect guest rooms; ensure adherence to policies and procedures.
Maintain housekeeping carts, rooms, laundry areas to company standards.
Coordinate with maintenance engineer on preventive maintenance and deep cleaning.
Perform daily housekeeping tasks and periodic room inspections as needed.
Motivate staff and drive department initiatives; complete required training.
