Extended Stay America in West Warwick, RI is seeking a full-time Lead Housekeeper to support the management team by supervising cleaning standards, training staff, and maintaining housekeeping operations. The role works with maintenance on preventative cleaning and guest room inspections, and executes duties assigned by management.

The Lead Housekeeper will supervise 3+ associates, ensure adherence to policies, and drive improvements while maintaining a clean, welcoming hotel environment.

Qualifications

• Read, speak English and comprehend basic instructions.
• Train and supervise housekeeping staff.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization.
• Coordinate with maintenance for inspections and deep cleaning.

Responsibilities

• Trains new and existing housekeepers and inspects guest rooms.
• Ensures housekeeping carts, rooms, and laundry areas meet company standards.
• Works with maintenance to perform guest room preventive maintenance and deep cleaning.
• Performs daily housekeeping tasks and weekend out-of-room cleaning as needed.
• Manages daily housekeeping operations to maintain overall hotel cleanliness.
• Completes required ESU training.
