Job summary

Extended Stay America in Providence / West Warwick is seeking a full-time Lead Housekeeper to assist the management team in overseeing housekeeping tasks and standards. You will train and coach a team of 3+ associates, inspect rooms, and coordinate with maintenance for preventative cleaning and deep cleaning initiatives.

The role requires strong English comprehension, good judgment, and the ability to prioritize daily duties to maintain peak efficiency.

Qualifications

• Reads and speaks English; comprehends simple instructions, memos and short correspondence.
• Performs basic arithmetic with whole numbers, fractions and decimals.
• Always apply good judgment in daily tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist management in overseeing housekeeping tasks and standards.
• Train and coach 3+ housekeeping associates on company policies and procedures.
• Inspect guest rooms and ensure adherence to cleanliness standards.
• Coordinate with maintenance for preventative cleaning and deep cleaning tasks.
• Lead daily housekeeping tasks and support weekend coverage as needed.
• Ensure overall hotel cleanliness and support department initiatives.
