Job summary

SECR, SELC & SCIT is seeking a Part-time Housekeeping Supervisor to ensure guest rooms meet cleanliness standards. You will supervise and assist Guest Room Attendants, manage shift assignments, and help train staff to maintain smooth operations.

Responsibilities include pre-shift meetings, quality inspections, and ensuring guest satisfaction. Flexibility for high/low occupancy and adherence to safety policies are essential for success.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or four years of directly related work experience.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Two years of Hotel Housekeeping experience.
• Must have basic computer skills.
• Must pass a background check to meet employment eligibility requirements.
• Native American preference shall apply to all positions.
• Associate’s Degree in Hospitality, Business Administration, or related field or earned 48 college credit hours.

Responsibilities

• Hold pre-shift meetings and distribute assignment sheets.
• Answer phones and address issues or concerns.
• Walk halls, landings, lobby, pool area, and patio to ensure cleanliness.
• Inspect guestrooms and other areas for compliance to set standards for cleanliness and repair.
• Ensure all Guest Room Attendants follow the established dress code.
• Assist the Housekeeping Training Supervisor with training needs.
• Oversee Guest Room attendants’ carts and storage areas; ensure they are clean, stocked, and organized.
• Maintain a positive and upbeat attitude and be attuned to guest questions and needs.
• Provide excellent customer service for all internal and external customers.
• Submit written reports on the condition of rooms and performance on the Quality Control Inspection Form.
• Communicate to Housekeeping Managers any situations that require disciplinary actions.
