Job summary

SpringHill Suites Raleigh-Durham Airport/RTP in Durham, NC is hiring full-time Housekeeping Attendants. Hours are 8:00am-4:30pm with weekend availability required and a starting pay of $15.00–$16.00 per hour. A $250 sign-on bonus is offered after 90 days of employment.

Daily pay option is available after each shift. Your primary duties include cleaning guest rooms to brand standards, stocking amenities, and reporting maintenance needs.

Qualifications

• 1 year of housekeeping experience preferred.
• Must be flexible in work hours to accommodate last minute changes in scheduling.
• Must be available to work weekend shifts.
• Knowledge of cleaning equipment, cleaning techniques and safe use of chemicals is essential.
• Must be able to adapt to a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Ensures customer satisfaction by cleaning guest rooms according to standards.
• Removes soiled linens and replaces with clean linens as required.
• Removes trash and debris from rooms as required.
• Cleans bathrooms, dusts surfaces, replenishes room amenities, sweeps and vacuums.
• Reports unusual circumstances to Hotel Management and maintenance requests.
• Keeps supply cart neat and stocked; manages linen closet stock and shortages.

The SpringHill Suites by Marriott Raleigh-Durham Airport/RTP is currently hiring for full-time Housekeeping Attendants. The hours for these positions are 8:00am-4:30pm; weekday and weekend availability is required.

$250 Sign-On Bonus*

PRIMARY PURPOSE: To maximize customer satisfaction by providing neat and clean guestrooms, in accordance with company and brand standards.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensures customer satisfaction by cleaning customer rooms according to SREE and brand standards
• Removes soiled bed and bath linens and replaces with clean linens, as required
• Removes accumulated trash and debris from room as required
• Cleans bathroom area, dusts all surfaces, replenishes room amenities, cleans floors and vacuums rooms as required
• Reports unusual circumstances to Hotel Management
• Reports maintenance requests and replacement orders
• Maximizes job efficiency by ensuring the supply cart is neat, stocked and orderly
• Ensures quality and quantity of the contents of the linen closet by organizing and cleaning it and notifies housekeeping manager or supervisor immediately if any stock shortages exist

REQUIREMENTS

• 1 year of housekeeping experience preferred
• Must be flexible in work hours to accommodate last minute changes in scheduling
• Must be available to work weekend shifts
• Knowledge of cleaning equipment, cleaning techniques and safe use of chemicals is essential
• Must be able to change tasks and adjust energy level needed to accommodate a fast-paced environment
• Must achieve required threshold scores according to brand and company inspections

JOB SETTING AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Employees in this position work primarily indoors. To perform the job successfully the candidate must be able to stand for long periods of time, kneel, bend and crawl, squat and crouch, and tolerate exposure to dust and cleaning chemicals. Must be able to lift, push, pull and carry a minimum weight of approximately 30 lbs.
