Responsibilities

• Ensures customer satisfaction by cleaning guest rooms according to brand standards and hotel procedures.
• Removes soiled bed and bath linens and replaces with clean linens as required.
• Removes accumulated trash and debris from room as required.
• Cleans bathroom area, dusts surfaces, replenishes room amenities, cleans floors and vacuums rooms as required.
• Reports unusual circumstances to Hotel Management.
• Reports maintenance requests and replacement orders.
• Maximizes job efficiency by keeping the supply cart neat, stocked and orderly.
• Ensures quality and quantity of contents of linen closet; notifies housekeeping manager of stock shortages.

The Courtyard by Marriott, located in Matthews, NC, is hiring for a full-time or part-time Housekeeping Attendant. The person hired for this position will work days; weekday and weekend availability is required.

PRIMARY PURPOSE

To maximize customer satisfaction by providing neat and clean guestrooms, in accordance with company and brand standards.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensures customer satisfaction by cleaning customer rooms according to SREE and brand standards
• Removes soiled bed and bath linens and replaces with clean linens, as required
• Removes accumulated trash and debris from room as required
• Cleans bathroom area, dusts all surfaces, replenishes room amenities, cleans floors and vacuums rooms as required
• Reports unusual circumstances to Hotel Management
• Reports maintenance requests and replacement orders
• Maximizes job efficiency by ensuring the supply cart is neat, stocked and orderly
• Ensures quality and quantity of the contents of the linen closet by organizing and cleaning it and notifies housekeeping manager or supervisor immediately if any stock shortages exist

JOB SETTING AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Employees in this position work primarily indoors. To perform the job successfully the candidate must be able to stand for long periods of time, kneel, bend and crawl, squat and crouch, and tolerate exposure to dust and cleaning chemicals. Must be able to lift, push, pull and carry a minimum weight of approximately 30 lbs.
