Job summary

Sonesta International Hotels is hiring a House Attendant to support housekeeping teams at our Miami Beach properties. You will assist Room Attendants, deliver linens and supplies, and help with laundry and public area cleaning to ensure guest satisfaction.

The role requires physical stamina and the ability to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Prior housekeeping experience is preferred, with opportunities for growth within a dynamic hospitality group.

Qualifications

• Some previous housekeeping experience preferred.
• Previous background from the extended stay industry preferred.
• Ability to speak, read, and write fluent English is preferred; other languages beneficial.
• Basic reading, writing and mathematical abilities are preferred.
• Frequently standing up, bending, climbing, kneeling, and moving about the facility.
• Carrying, lifting or pulling items weighing up to 75 pounds.
• Will be required to regularly use commercial cleaning chemicals.
• Will be required to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Deliver on the Sonesta Service standards in all interactions with guests and clients.
• Assist Room Attendants with heavy items and supply delivery.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of floor closets and corridors, including trash removal and sweeping/vacuuming.
• Respond to guests' requests in a timely and efficient manner.
• Clean designated public areas and restrooms; report repairs or unsafe conditions.
• Deliver lost and found items per procedures; assist with deep cleaning projects as needed.
