Job summary

Sonesta International Hotels is seeking a House Attendant to support the Housekeeping Management Team on assigned floors. Duties include delivering linens, assisting with laundry, and keeping public areas clean to ensure guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities cover stocking, trash removal, responding to guest requests, and participating in occasional deep cleaning projects. Flexibility for mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays is required.

Qualifications

• Some previous housekeeping experience preferred.
• Ability to speak, read, and write fluent English is preferred; other languages beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Deliver on the promise of Sonesta Service in all interactions with guests and clients according to Sonesta G.U.E.S.T. standards.
• Assist Room Attendants with heavy items such as mattresses and linens; deliver linens and other supplies.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of floor closets and corridors; remove trash, wipe shelves, sweep/vacuum floors.
• Respond to guests' requests in a timely and efficient manner.
• Clean public restrooms, storage rooms, and other public areas.
• Report needed repairs or unsafe conditions to supervisor.
• Assist with special requests, guest complaints, and delivery of housekeeping supplies.
• Monitor laundry supplies and equipment; operate washers/dryers; fold and store clean linens; report damages.
