Job summary

Sonesta International Hotels is seeking a House Attendant to support the housekeeping team on assigned floors. You will help Room Attendants with linens, supplies, and trash, and assist with laundry and public areas to ensure guest satisfaction.

This on-site role requires physical activity, reliability, and a customer-focused approach. Morning, evening, weekend, and holiday shifts are typical, with comprehensive health and retirement benefits.

Qualifications

• Some previous housekeeping experience preferred.
• Extended stay industry background preferred.
• Fluent English speaking, reading and writing preferred; other languages beneficial.
• Basic reading, writing and math abilities are preferred.
• Stand, bend, climb, kneel and move about the facility regularly.
• Carry, lift, or pull items weighing up to 75 pounds.
• Regular use of commercial cleaning chemicals required.
• Mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays work required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Sonesta Service to guests per G.U.E.S.T. standards.
• Assist Room Attendants with linens and supplies delivery.
• Maintain cleanliness/organization of closets and corridors; manage trash.
• Respond to guest requests promptly.
• Clean designated public areas and restrooms.
• Report repairs or safety issues to supervisor.
• Respond to special requests and guest complaints; deliver supplies.
• Minimize waste of supplies and amenities.
• Deliver lost and found items per procedures.
• Assist with deep cleaning projects as assigned.
• Monitor laundry supplies; operate washers/dryers when assigned.
• Fold/store linens; report damages.
• Promote teamwork and communication with shifts.
• Ensure health and safety compliance.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
