Job summary

Hyatt House/Hyatt Place Houston Medical Center is seeking a friendly Complimentary Attendant to deliver high-quality beverage and dining service to guests in the hotel's complimentary service area. You will work in a fast-paced environment, maintain brand standards, and ensure guest satisfaction throughout shifts.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, flexibility to work evenings, nights, weekends and holidays, and the ability to obtain a Food Handlers card.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent and/or experience in a hotel or related field preferred.
• Must be willing and able to work a varied schedule including evenings, nights, weekends and holidays.
• Must meet legal age to serve alcoholic beverages and satisfactorily pass TIPs or required certification.
• Must obtain Food Handlers card as required by city/state.
• Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and professionally.
• Knowledge of hotel products, guest services, and etiquette.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist guests in a friendly, courteous, and service-oriented manner.
• Maintain attendance and adhere to hotel standards and scheduling needs.
• Present a neat, professional appearance and wear uniform and name tag.
• Provide beverage and food service, including basic coffee/tea and cocktails as required.
• Assist with opening/closing procedures and side duties per station rotation.
• Answer questions about hotel services, local area attractions, and activities for guests.
